Typical Working day

During our stay in Ireland, some of us were working in a hotel, a restaurant or in a physical therapy clinic. We usually had to get up at about 7 a.m. and get to work two hours later. Some of us were working really hard and had strict time-tables. In general, no one had problems or disagreements at work. Everyone had a good relationship to the other employees. There were no cases of bullying ore any disagreements between students and their supervisors. Our lunch break depended on how much we had to do. Mostly there was nothing to do, so we had a lot time to get something to eat and meet up with our friends. The daily tasks vary from cleaning tables ore sorting paper-sheets to creating

websites and managing the company’s social-media platforms. The typical working day ends at about 4.30 or 5 p.m. After work we had enough time to spend the rest of the evening in our favorite pub “Gleesons”. The only thing some had to complain about was the way they had to take on to get to work. Two of us had to drive 30 minutes with the local bus to get to and off work every day. To sum up we are very happy with our jobs and thankful to get the chance of working and learning in Ireland.
